Hi, my name is Raegan! Growing up I played almost every sport I could. When I got older, I grew a huge passion for basketball. I found it very complex because you need the physical aspects a sport requires, but also the mental IQ and discipline to excel. Some of my favorite things to do are cooking for and with people, going out with friends, traveling, and watching shows and movies. I was born in Oregon, but all of my family is Canadian and still live in Canada. My favorite thing to do when visiting Canada is when it’s snowing and my cousins and I can go tubing all day. My dream vacation is to be able to take a trip to Hawaii or the Maldives with my best friends. Another interest I have is for medicine and surgery. When I am older, I hope to become an anesthesiologist or type of surgeon.

Raegan Fowles is a high-IQ point guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Her combination of speed, toughness, decision-making, and leadership allows her to control the pace of the game and consistently put her team in advantageous situations.
Offensively, Raegan excels in transition. She has the speed to push the tempo, attack before the defense is set, and create opportunities for both herself and her teammates. She plays with a true point guard mentality, understands spacing and personnel, and makes intelligent decisions with the basketball. As a scorer, Raegan is a crafty finisher around the rim, has a strong mid-range game, and can stretch the defense by knocking down the three.
Defensively, Raegan separates herself with her ability and willingness to pressure the basketball. She is a disruptive, persistent full-court defender who uses her quickness, anticipation, and competitiveness to make opposing guards uncomfortable. Her defensive energy sets the tone and gives her the ability to impact games even when she isn't scoring.
Beyond her skill set, Raegan brings many of the intangibles programs look for in a point guard. She is a vocal leader, an excellent teammate, highly coachable, and brings a great personality to a team environment. She pairs those qualities with a strong academic profile at The John Cooper School, making her an intriguing student-athlete for academically competitive college programs. - L3
