  • My name is Virginia Williams and I am from Houston, Texas. I have been playing basketball since Kindergarten, and AAU basketball since seventh grade. I started playing AAU basketball because I love the physicality and team culture. Other than basketball, I enjoy working with animals, spending time with friends and family, and being out doors.

  • Virginia is a high-IQ stretch four who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she has a strong mid-range jump shot and soft touch around the basket, giving her the ability to score effectively away from the rim while also finishing inside. She understands spacing, plays within the flow of the offense, and is an excellent screener who consistently helps create opportunities for her teammates.

    Defensively, Virginia competes at a high level and takes pride in doing the little things that contribute to winning. She is a strong defender, consistently boxes out, battles on the glass, and plays with toughness and effort. Her basketball IQ, competitiveness, and willingness to embrace the details make her a dependable frontcourt player who can impact the game without needing the ball in her hands. - L3
